The Trade

We all have that time; when we feel like trapped. And, this is one such story of mine in one such time!

---

She is letting all the strings go loose. She is cutting all the edges to free herself. She is desperately trying to let herself out. No, she’s not doing them calm. She took the only weapon which was easy to buy. Her innocence was all she gave, to buy it. Arrogance! She is doing everything with arrogance. She has learnt to be so! Stubbornness, coldness, wildness – she got them all as a discount. That was a profitable trade indeed.

There were people who pushed her out. There were people who want her back. Why would she go back to them? They all sat quiet and saw her weep all that time. No one had tried to reach her. A sense of comfort; a gentle warmth of friendly presence; a little touch of love – was all she needed. But cold blankness was all she got. And now they say, ‘we love you’. Snap and slap was what she gave them back.

It’s too late for anything, world! She wants no one. She wants not a thing. She just wants to break free and fly. She is cruel. She is wild. She is crazy. Yes, she is arrogant.

All those seconds and days of loneliness! The crumpled wall and the dark room. She learned to be rebellious. That was not her fault. She has been jailed, for someone else’ fault. A total injustice. But the world is full of such stories. Justice stripped completely off and there’s just a tag which exists (to cover up the injustice, of course)!
‘The dreamy blue and green sphere’, to the non-Earthians! ‘A boundary-less and ceiling-less vast expanse’, to the atmospheric fliers! ‘Liquid splash in fins and mysterious merge of lands in horizon’, to the aquatic lives! This is world. But not to her.

Her innocence made her see the world as a fairyland. She thought, ‘there’s nothing which is at fault. Everything is so perfect and I’m lucky to be here.’ Funny! There’s no such perfection exists. And her trade thought her that. The world is full of challenges. And she is here to tackle and prove and avenge herself.

Nothing can stop her. She has her own music. She has her own world. She own her and no one else.
