Farewell & Pixie Dust

People move, They move around quite so lot And some place they stay For quite some time Maybe strike a match, With some similar minds Nobody knows how or when But when that happens, People gather memories I call them pixie dust ‘Coz I love to fantasize Slowly and so slowly All the little dusts Gathers up and settles down But people move, And when they do, All the pixie dust that has gathered Glitters like in sun Spreading the warmth And all the emotions That’s packed in, Pours out like rain And sweet as it is to have be en with you, It is time for you to move too As much as I want you to be here It is only fair to tell you farewell, now And here we go, A little something , For the special someone ! I remember the first time I met you, crystal. Abhijit sir had told me that I will no longer be there in his team and has to shift to Compass . And that day you came and took me with you. Well, Love is beyond the-toughness of Life!

Silence is no more awkward.
Thoughts are no more hazy.
Vision is no more a blur.
Now that, she has him beside her.

Soft evening breeze, envelopes them around. Warm rays of setting sun touch them gently, as it bids them good-bye for the day…slowly. They stare at the reddish-orange sky; with her hair swaying across her face and his hands dangling casually at the back of the park bench on which they’re sitting.
She turned to him and he was still staring at the sky…entirely relaxed and his eyes look calm. She rarely saw him relaxed. If she had ever seen him in peace…it had always been the calm-before storm kind of peace.

---

She knows what he had been through.

His shoulders – strong enough to carry his whole lot of family. It would be really tough to have several siblings along with the poverty touch. If you’re the elder one, it is even tougher. And he never complained for that toughness of life. He just got on with, what he had. He never got anything for himself – except for the Education, which helped him feed his entire family. But the cruelty of life is that, the family – he worked his life out for – betrayed him. What they cared for, is just ‘Money’.

It took him really a long time to come out and make a new family for himself. And, there she was! Staring at his father in the yellow glow of the sky. The man who she will call ‘Hero’ for her entire life without thinking twice. The man who never shed tears…in front of anyone. The man who holds his pride before the world. And the man who would only lean before her…just to make her smile. The man who would battle her nightmares and demons away. The man who would listen her for his entire life. The man who can make her smile – no matter what.

---

He turned and winked at her, as if nothing matters. Like, nothing else matters in this whole world, except her smile. She smiled.

And, the moment is complete with their love binding them together…no matter what.

I dedicate it to...who else?!...the World's-Best-Father (He can be yours too. And, I'm not gonna argue with that!).

And, Yes! A very Happy Father's Day!
